ARC - Columbiana
The Advanced Radiology Center (ARC) in Columbiana is located on the first floor of the SRMC Surgery & Outpatient Pavilion at Firestone Farms TownCenter. The ARC is a free-standing radiology center, offering more convenient access to high-quality medical imaging services at a lower cost.
The ARC at Firestone Farms provides many of the latest advances in medical imaging technology to area residents. These specialized medical imaging services further enhance area physicians’ ability to provide exceptional care from diagnosis through treatment.
ARC Medical Imaging in Columbiana was recently awarded three-year accreditations in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Ultrasound by the American College of Radiology® (ACR®). In addition, ARC Columbiana has already achieved ACR accreditation for its CT Scanner and Mammography services, which means that these services have met the highest standards of imaging quality and safety.

The Advanced Radiology Center (ARC) has a second location within the new Millennial Moments’ development at the corner of Route 224 and Palmyra Road. Our SRMC-Canfield facility houses both the ARC-Canfield and primary care practice.

- 64-slice CT Scanner
- 3-D Mammography with highest depth resolution
- Digital X-Ray
- Walk-in availability for Mammograms and Digital X-rays
Peter Apicella, M.D., is the Medical Director for the ARC in Columbiana and Canfield, as well as the Chief Radiologist for Salem Regional Medical Center's Department of Medical Imaging.
